Louisiana Register
The Louisiana Register is a monthly publication which provides access to the certified regulations and legal notices issued by the executive branch of the state government.
State statutes direct agencies to engage in the rulemaking process in order to implement new state and federal laws. Such rulemaking actions are published in the Louisiana Register in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act. This procedure allows for public input as well as legislative involvement.
Proposed and final rules published in the Louisiana Register are codified for Louisiana Administrative Code compilation and research capabilities.

The Economic Impact Statements for Proposed Rules can be found in the Notices of Intent section of the Louisiana Register within each fiscal and economic impact statement summary.
