Complex Cable & Wire Consulting
OTS provides wiring expertise for customers who use the Statewide Complex Cable and Wire contract to procure voice and data cable installations. These complex jobs require an in-depth understanding of cable and electrical standards as well as familiarity with the contracted vendors to ensure the final product meets the customer's needs. OTS experts perform a number of services in the course of each engagement:
- Site assessments to determine indoor and outdoor wiring needs
- Prepare detailed quotes that illustrate all contract options available
- Coordinate timelines with vendors and customers
- Assist with subordinate contracts when needed
- Perform quality checks
- Review vendor invoices for accuracy

Billing Rates
Actual cost for the specific time that each Wire and Cable employee spends on cable engineering work. The scope of work required for each wiring job varies. OTS will provide an estimate of Complex Cable and Wire Consulting hours upon initiation of a project, but the estimate is subject to change as conditions and/or scope change.
This fee is billed separately on the customer’s monthly OTS invoice.
